Hi there! We’re Phillip and Amy Boswell, and we’ve had the incredible honor of pastoring Anchorage Native Assembly of God for the past 11 years. Originally from North Carolina, we felt a strong call from God to move to Alaska and serve the amazing Alaska Native people. It’s been one of the greatest blessings of our lives. They are both Ordained with the Assemblies of God. Phillip is a full-appointed U.S. missionaries with the AG, and ministry has been at the heart of our marriage and family for many years. We’ve been married for 27 years, served in ministry for 24, and are proud parents to two wonderful daughters, two awesome sons-in-law, and the proudest grandparents to two beautiful granddaughters who keep us smiling! Pastor Phillip serves as the lead pastor here at Native Assembly and also helps lead Camp Agaiutim Nune (Camp AN)—a ministry close to his heart. He’s a country boy at heart who loves to ice fish, hunt, and—let’s be honest—never turns down a good steak or some smoked meat! Pastor Amy is our children’s pastor and has a true gift for helping little hearts grow in God’s love. She works as the Admin. Assistant at the church, plays the violin for the worship team, has a passion for organizing and cleaning (yes, she actually enjoys it!), and loves to swim whenever she gets the chance. We love the people God has placed in our lives and are deeply grateful to serve such a diverse, Spirit-filled, missions-minded church family.
